Admissions Closing Soon for CERGE-EI Economics Study Programs

CERGE-EI looks forward to welcoming prospective students, including those who joined us at events such as the CERGE-EI Festival or Project Snapshot, as the admissions process enters its final stage. The application period for CERGE-EI’s economics study programs is nearing its end.

The fully funded PhD in Economics offers rigorous training in economic theory, quantitative methods, and original research under close faculty mentorship. Students receive competitive funding, work within a close-knit international academic community, and benefit from opportunities for research stays abroad. The Master in Economic Research is a two-year, full-time Charles University program taught in Prague. It combines economics, data science, and public policy, with strong emphasis on practical skills such as coding, data analysis, and professional communication.
