Head of Development Office CERGE-EI
CERGE-EI is looking for a colleague for the newly created position of Head of Development Office.
Brief description of the position:
The Head of Development Office is responsible for the long-term strategy for working with individual donors, corporate partners and foundation donors of CERGE-EI. Builds and leads the emerging Development Office and reports to the Deputy Director for Development and PR and the Director of CERGE-EI for the fulfillment of established fundraising goals. He can be enthusiastic in personal meetings with donors, just as he can easily handle mass communication during campaigns for small donors or with a CRM database. The Head of Development Office is responsible for creating a donor portfolio (people, companies, foundations) that will provide CERGE-EI with donations totaling USD 1,000,000 / CZK 23,000,000 over the next three years.
Key competences:
- creation, implementation and evaluation of CERGE-EI's fundraising and sponsoring strategy, which is in line with CERGE-EI's strategic direction;
- setting annual fundraising and sponsoring goals in accordance with the long-term financial development plan of CERGE-EI;
- management of the Development Office of the CERGE-EI team, its development and growth; development of competences of individual team members;
- preparation of the annual financial plan of the Development Office;
- active cooperation with partner foundations – the CERGE-EI Foundation in the USA and the CERGE-EI Foundation;
- setting up and implementing a system of caring for donors and corporate partners;
- active fundraising, i.e. working with an entrusted portfolio of significant donors and supporters, in all its phases: identification, qualification, cultivation, donation application and donor stewardship;
- development of work with the CRM system as a tool for monitoring and evaluating the "pipeline" of potential donors;
- strategic management and implementation of CERGE-EI campaigns and benefit events.

We are looking for a colleague for the position of grant coordinator responsible for the administration of grant and other subsidy projects in the economic research areas of the institution.
Job description:
- administrative provision and management of the agenda of domestic and foreign research grants and public competitions (applications, interim and final reports);
- management of project components;
- partial tasks in the preparation and administration of institutional projects;
- participates in the financial management of projects and financial reporting
Requirements:
