Ira W. Lieberman: "In Good Times Prepare for Crisis: Lessons from the Great Depression through the Great Recession"
Dr. Ira W. Lieberman will present his new book, In Good Times Prepare for Crisis: Lessons from the Great Depression through the Great Recession, which was published by Brookings Press in October 2018.
The book is segmented into four parts with each part discussing a distinct set of major crises starting with the Great Depression and concluding with the most recent global crisis, the Great Recession.
After a brief introduction to the book and to crises, Dr. Lieberman will focus on the recent eurozone crisis 2007-2015.
Ira will close his talk with lessons learned from these crises and how they reflect on the current economic situation globally. There will be ample time for questions and answers.
