Alan B. Krueger is a CERGE-EI's Executive and Supervisory Committee member in memoriam. He contributed to CERGE-EI's success. In May 2012, Alan Krueger gave a public lecture "Reasons for Confidence in the US Economy."
In 2021, when David Card was awarded the 2021 Nobel Prize, the Committee for the Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel wrote in the document Scientific Background on the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2021: "Another central researcher was Alan Krueger, who passed away in 2019; among other things, he co-authored a number of the early key studies with Card."
