The Review of Economic Studies Tour 2018
Come and meet future economic stars. CERGE-EI has been chosen as one of 3 places in Europe where those most talented young economists are going to present their research work as a part of the 2018 Review of Economic Studies Tour (Restud Tour). Past speakers include Steven Levitt, Susan Athey, Esther Duflo, Emmanuel Saez, Jonathan Levin, Amy Finkelstein, Raj Chetty, and Yuliy Sannikov, who later became holders of the Bates Clark Medal, one of the most prestigious awards in Economics, second only to the Nobel Prize. Undoubtedly, several of the 2018 ReStud Tour speakers will become contenders for the Nobel Prize in the future. Use this unique opportunity to come and meet them in person.
The Restud Tour 2018 will take place at CERGE-EI on 10 - 11 May, 2018.

Restud tours have been held annually in May since 1989. Every year, in line with the Review’s tradition of encouraging the work of young economists, some of the most promising graduating doctoral students in economics and finance in the world are selected to present their research to audiences in Europe. The meetings take place at the economics departments or institutes of three or four universities across Europe. Standard seminar presentations are given over two days to audiences invited by the local hosts and which include members of the journal’s editorial board.

The Review of Economic Studies
The Review was founded in 1933 by a group of young British and American Economists. It is published quarterly by The Review of Economic Studies Ltd, whose objective is to encourage research in theoretical and applied economics, especially by young economists, and to publish the results in the Journal. The Review of Economic Studies is essential reading for economists. It is one of the core economics journals, consistently ranking among the top five titles.
